Dichroic "squid ink" fabric inspired by 500+ million years of evolution.

The squids' skin is one of the most complex and unique biological materials on this planet. While most creatures with color-changing ability do it to hide, squids do it to attract. Which is where the inspiration for Shroom Beach's reflective release came from.

Our rainbow reflective prints are stealthy, until you don't want it to be. The mushroom pattern is a mellow gray/black, and then when the light hits it just right, the print comes to life and looks like it's from another dimension.

Short Features:

  • Zippered tech storage pockets
  • Embroidered Shroom Beach icon on left leg.
  • Elasticated waistband with drawstrings (extra stretch for maximum comfort)
  • Reduced length "just enough" (5" inseam which is slightly longer than our original 2.0 short, but still enough to celebrate those quads!)
  • Rainbow Reflective outer fabric (now with 4-way stretch)
  • With slightly wider waist to avoid "muffin top".

Tan Shirt and Linerless Shorts

Bought the tan terry towel button up and the solid all reflective liner less shorts. They got shipped here fast. They are super comfortable and the reflective shorts are dope and surprise a lot of people. great alternative to a reflective vest. Only con I would say is that the packaging for the reflective shorts should have a big sticker for special care instructions. Not a big deal I found it on the shorts them self's but I almost washed and dried them with my gym cloths on the wrong settings.

Crazy Fabric

I thought this might be fun for a race costume. I was worried the fabric wouldn’t be cool without a camera’s flash, but it has a great sheen to it!

A little baggy, go one size down

The shorts themselves are very good quality. I would say one annoying thing about them is the material is very plastic-sounding and noisy. Whenever my legs rub together when walking they make a louder rubbing sound, they are pretty heavy fitting as well, but overall they do look exactly as pictured!
